Activity is your call inbox of short AI summaries for screened calls. Family lets you invite a guardian to mirror a parent’s Activity and alerts. Anti-scam protection (Pro) routes risky unknown calls away from the handset so the scam never rings the phone.

Do I need to register right away?

No. You can start free local blocking as a guest — no account required. When you unlock Pro, you pay first, then verify your phone with OTP so the subscription stays on your account.

Who controls settings in family mode?

The parent controls protection and Family settings. Guardians are invite-only and can mirror Activity and alerts for a linked parent.

Building CallPilot: Why We Started

The mission behind CallPilot and why family-safe call protection matters for modern phone users in Israel.

Phone scams in Israel are not abstract. Families lose savings to unknown callers who sound urgent, official, or familiar. CallPilot started from that problem: seniors and busy households needed a practical way to keep unknowns out without turning the phone into a brick.

CallPilot by Eden Gabay is an Android call-screening app built for Israel. Free local blocking stops numbers that are not in your contacts, on the device. CallPilot Pro adds unlimited AI answering, Activity history, Family alerts, and an anti-scam shield — so a parent can see what happened and a guardian can stay informed after an invite.

We chose Android first because that is where most of the people we care about already live. Hebrew, English, and Russian matter in the same household. Setup has to be simple: grant contacts and the call-screening role, then decide later whether to unlock Pro.

Family-safe call protection is not about fear. It is about giving people a default that favors known contacts, clear summaries when AI answers, and a product story that matches real life in Israel — not a generic global template.
